Well, accomplices. I took a quick trip to Riga, talked to my thesis advisor. By the looks of it, not a single one of the nine people in my group managed to finish their master's thesis in time. Now we're going to defend in a year. They canceled the old free ride of defending in the fall and winter. Actually, I lie, one hero did manage to resist the universal madness — that's Yura. Due to extreme family circumstances he absolutely had to be done with uni at all costs, and he was finishing up his master's thesis right on the train. Legend has it that Bill Gates was finishing his first crucial program on a plane, on his way to a meeting with representatives of the MITS company. The deal went down successfully, and a year later Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard to found Microsoft. So Yura has a great future ahead of him — after all, he's actually going to graduate from uni, unlike that ignoramus Bill.
Took my camera with me to snap some pics of Riga, but didn't see anything interesting. Maybe it's because of the heat — it's awful, the dorm is basically like an oven.
And I also found out that my casual notes are read by real-life friends, which is nice.
And so you don't get bored, here's Valerych, Yura, and a dog, who for some reason was seeing off the train leaving for Riga at six in the morning. And Valerych is the exact same guy I've repeatedly called a terminator robot on the pages of this journal for his outstanding achievements in the field of bafflement.
